In the U.S., prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed and the second most common cause of cancer death in men. The incidence of prostate cancer is increasing at an average rate of 3% a year. Though this figure represents a sharp decline in incidence from previous years, there are still an estimated 180,400 new cases reported in this country every year. The three courses in this suite discuss the cause, diagnosis, and treatment of prostate cancer.
